A CASE FOR SHAME (UNDER THE MANHATTAN BRIDGE VERSION) – MOBY

Born and bred in the Big Apple, Moby is arguably one of those New Yorkers involved in a long and lasting love affair with his city. This quiet remix of “A Case for Shame,” off his latest album Innocents, was inspired by his many 3 a.m. strolls under the Manhattan Bridge. From Simon and Garfunkel to Jay-Z, countless artists have used NYC as their musical muse. There’s just something so special about New York, New York (got to love that empire state of mind, eh?). Moby captures a beautiful moment with this single and makes me long to be Woody Allen, reciting my favourite aspects about NYC into a voice recorder as I fall asleep to the sounds of a city that never sleeps.
