BLACK OUT DAYS – PHANTOGRAM

Last night, I was playing cards with a few friends before the bar and our host put on Phantogram’s Voices on vinyl. Needless to say, I immediately took a liking to Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel’s self-described “psych pop.” In particular, “Black Out Days” really hit me hard. The way Sarah sings “away-ay-ay-ay-ay” is mesmerizing.
