I had a bad day today. But whenever I have a bad day, my answer is to listen to Canadian poet Shane Koyczan’s “Instructions for a Bad Day.” It always puts things in perspective and gives me inspiration. This “song” is a bit of a departure from my usual posts. I don’t think I’ve ever written about a piece of slam poetry. It’s pretty amazing stuff! Shane’s work reminds me why I love language so much. If you’ve had a bad day as well, click play on the video below, close your eyes and listen to Shane speak the truth.
